Relevant Slicing
A dynamic slice is the set of statements executed which affect a
set of variables at a given program point.
A relevant slice is one which includes the statements which
potentially affect V, by taking into account some predicate statements. It is computed dynamically so
as to exclude the superfluous statements contained in a static
slice.
This is a presentation for the Aristotle Research Group of, "An
Efficent Relevant Slicing Method for Debugging" by Tibor Gyimothy,
Arpad Beszedes, and Istvan Forgacs of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
